Ever discovered something that you were left out of but felt you should have been included in?

I remember such an incident when I was either ten or eleven.

I was big into skateboarding from the age of eight till I was thirteen. I was never very good at it but I enjoyed the social aspect of it. Skating helped me come out of my shy-shell a bit (yes, before I was a loudmouth, I was short and shy) and allowed me to have friends that I did not go to the same school with.
