Just saw Zero Dark Thirty, and I feel that it succeeds in being one of the first successful epics of the War on Terror filmmaking. Besides the obvious that Jessica Chastain really needs to beat Jennifer Lawrence (who honestly pales in comparison) at the Oscars, I think that I am now on the Jason Clarke bandwagon.
Seriously, he is the unsung hero of the movie. I mean, his performance is intense, gripping, and just as amazing as Chastain. Maybe it was because it wasn’t as showy and too rooted in the controversy, but damn, was it just a pile of fun. He deserved an Oscar nomination for this.
Please fix this.
